A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

Everyone Belongs at the Southside Boys & Girls Club

It is our mission to provide each Club member with a safe, supportive, fun, and enriching environment that inspires and empowers them to achieve their greatest potential. All members of the Southside Boys & Girls Clubs have equal access to activities, programs, and facilities without discrimination.  We are changing our structure to tailor each academy to meet the needs of specific grade levels and the holistic development of children.

Let’s dive into the Academy Clubs offered by the Southside Boys & Girls Club

1.  Mind Academy (Grades K-5):

• The Mind Academy is designed to ignite a passion for lifelong learning in our young members. Here, we emphasize Academic Success, Good Grades, Behavioral Etiquette, and Preparation for Lifelong Learning. 2. Body Academy (Grades 6-8):

• The Body Academy, Leadership Opportunities. Social Skills. We teach effective communication, teamwork, and community engagement Community Service We encourage active participation in giving back. 3. Soul Academy (Grades 9-12):

• The Soul Academy prepares high school students for their future endeavors. Key components include Career Exploration, Job Preparedness, Resume Writing, Financial Literacy, Living a Healthy Lifestyle, and Having a Planning for their Future.

In summary, our Academy Clubs provide a comprehensive framework for growth, character-building, and success across all age groups. Together, we empower our members to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
